We are seeking a Program Manager to run the day-to-day programs and special events of the elder ladies’ daytime centre.
Responsibilities
Execute the daily operations of the social centre by facilitating daily programming, motivating and engaging the attendees, troubleshooting.
Assist and collaborate with the leadership team to plan and execute daily and special programming of the social centre.
Execute special events, including serving as a liaison to facilitators, instructors, and guests to ensure all special programs run smoothly.
Oversee and manage a small team of program assistants, program operations assistant, and social media manager.
Serve as keyholder, opening, closing, and the regular cleaning of the social centre on days of operations.
Report all centre activities to the leadership team, producing activity reports on a frequent basis–weekly, monthly, quarterly.
Facilitate volunteering opportunities at the centre, interviewing, vetting, and
Manage all volunteers at the centre, whether repeat or individual volunteers to ensure they have an impactful and enjoyable experience.
Manage all visitation of the centre, including prospective members, family members, and special guests.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (completed a 4-year degree)
Completed your National Youth Service (NYSC)
5+ years experience in education, retail, hospitality, NGO, or charity management
2+ years experience overseeing and managing teams
2+ years experience facilitating programs in a nonprofit or educational setting
Experience with digital communication tools (ex. Gmail)
Comfortable and competent working with elderly individuals.
Excellent written, verbal, and oral communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills and solution oriented with the ability to quickly assess, diffuse and ameliorate interpersonal conflicts.
Comfortable communicating to multiple stakeholders (leadership, attendees, attendees’ family members, guests, instructors, facilitators, etc)
Nice-to-Haves
Experience working with children or the elderly
Experience facilitating programs in a charity/NGO or educational setting
Previous experience in nonprofit programming
Location: On-Site; Surulere
Salary commensurate with experience.
Available from 9am - 6pm Monday - Friday, including some weekend availability, to be discussed.
This is for a permanent 1 year contract, renewal upon satisfactory performance during probationary period.

We are seeking two (2) Program Assistants to help the Program Manager run the day-to-day programs of the elder ladies’ daytime centre.
Responsibilities
Tend to the needs of the centre’s elderly attendees throughout daily programming, ensuring all attendees are comfortable, engaged, and enjoying the programming.
Comfortable facilitating daily activities such as small group discussions, games, art sessions, and special activity sessions.
Assist the facilitators, instructors, and guests during operations to ensure all special programming runs smoothly.
Collaborate with your colleagues in the opening, preparation, execution, and close of daily operations and special events and troubleshooting of the social centre.
Work alongside colleagues in maintaining a clean centre and assist with programming, as needed.
Assist the Program Manager in the preparation, execution, and close of daily operations.
Collaborate with the Program Manager in the planning, preparation, and execution of all special events of the social centre.
In the event of the Program Manager’s absence, be able to assume all responsibilities for the day’s programming.
Qualifications

We are seeking a Program Operations Assistant to help the Program Manager run the day-to-day programs of the elder ladies’ daytime centre.
Collaborate with your colleagues in the opening, preparation, execution, and close of daily operations and special events and troubleshooting of the social centre.
Welcome and assist with arrivals and exits of attendees, facilitators, instructors, and guests.
Answer all online, phone, text, and in-person inquiries about the program, registration, and attendance requirements in a timely and professional manner.
Conduct daily check-ins of all attendees and weekly schedule confirmations ensuring we are prepared for all returning and new attendees.
Enforce our walk-in and registration policies and assist all potential attendees with their registration process.
Maintain all daily, weekly and monthly records of attendees, reservations, registrations, suggestions, concerns, etc.
Produce activity reports on a frequent basis–weekly, monthly, quarterly.
Manage all merchandise inquiries and coordinate pick-ups and deliveries of merchandise orders. (Note: you do not need to manage the purchasing of merchandise).
Document the weekly activities via photographs and short video clips, to be used for marketing and informational purposes.
Assist the facilitators, instructors, and guests during special programming, as needed.
Work alongside colleagues in maintaining a clean centre and assist with programming, as needed.
Qualifications
3+ years experience in retail, food service, hospitality, or nonprofit/NGO
Experience with digital communication tools (Gmail,Google Suite/Microsoft Office, WhatsApp, Instagram)
Comfortable taking photographs and videos.
Comfortable and competent working with elderly individuals.
Comfortable working independently and on a team.
Excellent written, verbal, and oral communication skills
A quick learner and action oriented.
Excellent Problem-solving skills
Nice-to-Haves
Experience a nonprofit/NGO, educational, or corporate setting
Location: On-Site; Surulere
Salary commensurate with experience.
